About Me

Hello! Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my website. My name is Laura, and I am the photographer behind Ld Nature Photography. I have been taking pictures since I was a little girl. I didn't have an actual camera, so any portion of my allowance not spent at the local gas station on treats was spent on disposable cameras. At that time, most of my pictures were of my pets; cats, gerbils, our family parrot.

It wasn't until a few years later that I got my first camera (using film at that time) and really became interested in capturing and preserving all that our earth has to offer. My parents are avid gardeners, and I was 'forced' (thanks, mom!) to spend lots and lots of time outside as a kid. I think that is where my original inspiration for photographing nature began. Being able to experience nature in these ways was something I took for granted as a child but now have come to be very appreciative and thankful.

My goal with my photography is to share the beauty nature has to offer us to anyone. I aim to showcase the small details through my macro photography and the gorgeous landscapes around the world through my landscape photography. I also have the benefit of being able to photograph fun things such as alpacas.

I hope you like what you see and that you are inspired by the beauty nature has to offer us. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I'd love to hear from you!

As part of my blog, I am always looking for different photographers to feature in a blog post. I love meeting new photographers and really enjoy viewing and sharing other's work. If you are interested in being featured, please contact me via the contact button on the left.

Additionally, if anyone is looking for a photographer to interview, I would be more than happy to answer any questions.
